In July, we started studying about Neil Armstrong using the “Beyond Five In a Row” curriculum I’m borrowing from HeartsDesire. Part of the curriculum called for the boys to build balsa wood airplanes like Neil did when he was a boy. So I bought them a couple and we had a great time putting them together and trying them out. Presently, one is stuck in the tree…but … at least they were less than $2 each!

I have to say this – so the boys will read it one day and know I mean it – getting to home school them is one of the best parts of my day! They are bright, intelligent, gifted children who love learning and make lessons fun. Everyday is not easy. But all in all – I love it. And so do they.
