On Wednesday we went to the Semmes Branch Library. It’s a brand spankin’ new library that the city built and opened last fall. It’s absolutely beautiful. It backs up to Comanche Hill, one of our favorite places to hike. It has an ampitheatre built into the side of the hill. A few weekends ago they even built a new playscape at the library! So we decided to go check it out on Wednesday.

Wouldn’t you know it – my boys had more fun climbing on a rock wall and falling off of it than on any other apparatus. I’m not sure this was what it was intended for…OK I KNOW this isn’t what it was intended for – but anyway, we had a lot of fun singing Humpty Dumpty song while the boys acted out the lead part. And, of course, I photographed them for the sake of blogging.

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall!

All the King’s horses and all the King’s men, couldn’t put Humpty together again!

Hey, it wasn’t MY idea! But it was pretty funny if you were there!
This is home schooling at it’s finest! Hope you are all impressed!!
